With only a 2 day notice, Dan put together a spring turkey hunt for my 13 year old son. Taking a first time hunter afield can lead to a lot of unexpected challenges. Dan's group hit the mark with persistence and patients. I would highly recommend Dan's group to anyone looking for a quality hunt. One thing that will stick with me for a long time is my son's comment. "Man dad, when I have a kid, I'm bringing him here." That about sums it up. Dan, I can't thank you enough for making this an amazing experience for us.

When one bids on a guided hunt at a conservation banquet, it can be a gamble. Sometimes things don't quite work out as planned or as advertised, sometimes you meet a great guy who runs a great operation. The later is true about Dan Guyer at Iron Duck. Hunting with my two most favored partners, my father and brother, Dan went out of his way to make sure things went as planned. Dan's calling abilities were used several times that morning, resulting in a great mixed bag of geese and ducks. Retrieves that day were handled swiftly and efficiently by one of his fine labs.
